The Galil ACE Gen II rifle carries forward the proven mechanical principles of the Galil family and adapts them to contemporary requirements. Chambered in 7.62x51, it uses a semi-automatic rotating bolt mechanism with a long-stroke piston, a system that limits fouling of the moving group while delivering a steady rate of fire and outstanding operational robustness.

The 16-inch barrel, cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined in CrMoV alloy, ensures high durability and thermal stability favourable to accuracy. The 1:12 twist rate is calibrated to effectively stabilize a wide range of projectiles compatible with this caliber.

The platform is designed for accessory integration: a Free-Float M-LOK handguard with attachment points at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock provides modularity and rigidity, while the 18-inch top rail allows the mounting of optics of various sizes as well as auxiliary components.

Overall length is reduced to 25.7 inches with the stock folded and reaches 34.5 inches when extended, offering a good compromise between handling and stability. Weighing 3.80 kg without magazine, the balance is designed to reduce fatigue while maintaining a stable shooting platform. Feeding is via a 20-round Magpul LR/SR25 Gen M3 magazine, a widespread standard that eases availability and handling.
