These are professional hearing protectors, featuring two microphones, a mini jack socket, as well as a control button for switching between active and passive mode.
Overview
The RealHunter ACTIVE Pro headset is a professional hearing protector that works in both active and passive mode (23 dB NRR*). It features two directional microphones built into the body and enclosed in a durable plastic housing, characterized by high sensitivity and accuracy. Thanks to them, the user can comfortably and freely hold a conversation or listen to ambient sounds, all while being confident that any outside noise exceeding 85 dB will be effectively and promptly cut off.
The RealHunter ACTIVE Pro active hearing protectors are powered by two AAA batteries and are controlled by a rotary knob that turns the device on or off with a distinct click. Using the rotary knob, you can increase or decrease the volume.
An important feature of the ACTIVE Pro, sure to appeal to many, is its mini jack socket, which allows you to connect a radio, an MP3 player, or a mobile phone, turning the headset into a piece of "entertainment" equipment. Note that even while playing audio from an external device, the protectors continue to pick up ambient sounds and cut off any that exceed 85 dB.
On the side, next to the control button, is the status LED. Once the headset is switched on, it lights up, informing you of the current mode (active or passive).
Design
The rubber that comes into direct contact with your ears is soft and gentle. It has a vent hole for excess air, thanks to which the hearing protectors adapt very well to your head. The headband is covered with a fabric that is pleasant to the touch. The wide adjustment range of the earcups allows them to fit safely and securely.
Complete Protection
Along with the headset, the customer also receives Protect protective glasses, compliant with the ANSI standard. These thick glasses, made of transparent, non-warping material, effectively protect the eyes in high-risk situations. The durability and resistance of the glasses have been confirmed by our test - a direct shot with a 17J air rifle at a distance of one meter did not pierce the RealHunter glasses. It's also worth mentioning the precise 3-step adjustment of the temples and the soft rubber nose pads.
