The Tavor 7 is a bullpup rifle designed for modern operational demands, cutting overall length without sacrificing usable barrel length. The chassis combines corrosion-treated metal parts with an impact-resistant modified polymer to ensure durability and light weight. The cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, free-floating barrel improves accuracy and longevity, while the rotating bolt provides robust mechanical safety.

The action relies on a short-stroke piston that limits fouling and eases maintenance. The four-position gas regulator lets you adapt the rifle to normal use, extreme conditions, use with a suppressor, or a closed setting for transport. The rifle breaks down into two parts for tool-free field cleaning, and the barrel is removable and replaceable for a range of mission-specific configurations.

Ergonomics have been optimized for heavy use, with an enlarged trigger guard, adjustable stock and cheek riser, and interchangeable grips. Ejection, the safety, and controls can be converted by the user for fully ambidextrous operation. The forend features M-LOK mounts and 1913 Picatinny rails, the platform accepts standard 7.62 NATO magazines, and it includes an effective compensator to limit muzzle rise during firing.
