MDT 3-round metal magazines use a unique design to reduce their height and are made from high-strength steel coated with Cerakote Elite. Compatible with AICS systems, they may require modifications on some firearms such as the Remington 700.
MDT metal magazines, based on the AICS design, feature a Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) system, reducing their height compared to industry standards. These 3-round magazines are compatible with 300 Winchester Magnum/6.5 PRC calibers.
Made from high-strength steel and coated inside and out with Cerakote Elite, they offer maximum durability, excellent corrosion resistance, and reduced friction. Compatible with AICS systems, these magazines allow a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.960".
However, minor modifications, such as machining the bottom of the feed ramp, may be necessary on some common firearms, like the Remington 700 and Savage 10/11, to prevent bullet tips from catching.
