With its affordable price, the BORNER C11 is aimed at beginners and casual shooters looking to try recreational shooting without breaking the bank.

Yet this is by no means an approximate pistol — its performance is very good and will satisfy even the most demanding users, as will its look, reliability and ergonomics.

Compact and light, accessible to everyone including women and young shooters, the C11 has a friendly, reassuring appearance that inspires confidence from the first handling. The grip ergonomics are outstanding — its generously curved rear fills the hand and pulls it back to perfectly position the fingers in their respective grooves, placing the trigger finger ideally.

The straight front of the trigger guard ensures a firm, precise two-handed hold for good sighting through the fixed front sight and rear sight system.

Construction

The C11 combines synthetic ABS (body and grip panels) with steel (rifled barrel and mechanism), creating a solid, shock and scratch-resistant assembly immune to corrosion, at a very light weight under 500 grams for a 22 cm overall length. Handling and charm are the two pillars of this pistol inspired by the famous Beretta PX4 Storm.

Usage

Loading is done separately — a right-side button ejects the slim 18-round steel BB magazine, while the 12-gram CO2 cartridge is inserted into a fixed compartment accessed by pulling back the grip panel block, which features textured surfaces for ideal grip.

With 3 joules of power, the BORNER C11 propels its 4.5 mm steel BBs at up to 160 m/s muzzle velocity, for well-aimed shots at 5 to 10 meters on cardboard or recreational targets.

Enthusiasts will appreciate the lower Picatinny/Weaver rail, which allows optional mounting of a laser pointer — the absolute must-have for newcomers — a tactical light with optional strobe, or even better, a combo of both.
